The Pantheon in Rome is one of the most famous monuments of the city and perhaps the most enigmatic building of the whole Italy. This splendid church dedicated "to all the gods" was commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus (27 BC – 14 AD) and was finally completed in 128 AD by the emperor Hadrian. This makes this amazing construction one of the oldest examples of architecture we have on our planet today. Built about two thousand years ago, it is still there!

Italy has it all! Food, fashion, design, sea, mountains… and cars! Yes, small Italy is one of the world’s biggest capitals of car industry. And precisely for this reason it constantly comes up with great ideas, peculiar auto shows and inventive related events.

One of the most particulars car events of Italy is so-called “Mille Miglia” (or “Thousand Miles”). It is a loop race of retro cars that passes through the whole “boot”. It starts and ends in the northern Brescia, and runs clockwise through such famous Italian cities as Verona, Ravenna, Rimini, Rome, Siena, Pisa and Parma.

The Scuderie del Quirinale Museum in Rome is about to open a new exhibition dedicated to the great French painter Henri Matisse, one of the best known artists of the twentieth century. The show will bring together the most known painter’s works from all over the world. Tate, MET, MoMa, Pushkin, Pompidou, Orangerie, Philadelphia, Washington and, of course, St. Petersburg’s Hermitage, that wards the richest and most important worldwide collection of Matisse’s masterpieces, will share their heritage with the Italian capital for only four months: from March 4th to June 21st. Thus, “Arabesque” will offer to its visitors an incredible and unique artistic journey made of more than one hundred Matisse’s works on display.
