Only few weeks are left before the Expo 2015 will start. Milan has been waiting and getting ready for this day since some years. As a consequence, the city has changed and its architecture has drastically renewed its look. In my opinion and with no doubt positively!

Some major urban developments has completely transformed, in fact, the face and the structure of the city. Probably the most known ones are the Porta Nuova new district and City Life neighborhood, both visible from anywhere thanks to its high-rises.
However, new Milanese architecture can be found not only there. It is everywhere.
Another refreshed architectural spot is located near piazza Maciacchini. It is an office quarter built in 2010.
One of its most iconic building is so-called MAC 5-6-7 designed by German architectural practice Sauerbruch Hutton. Geometric pattern of colorful façade is its main characteristic, a recognizable touch of the Berlin office. Clearly these 1,5 meters large modules can rotate, filling interiors with more light if necessary or otherwise protecting them from excessive sun rays. I think, it looks good. Do you like it?
